Celena (she/her) was first inspired to enter the field of sexuality education after serving as a Peer Sexuality Educator at her university’s Student Health Center while pursuing her undergraduate degree in Business. She later returned to school to pursue her Master's in Education at George Mason University, with a focus on Counseling & Child Development, and a specialization in Multicultural Education. She has worked in both school and community mental health settings. She’s a trained Our Whole Lives facilitator and a lead coordinator at Eno River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, with over 10 years of experience offering community-based OWL classes. She is currently pursuing professional certification as a sexuality educator through the Sexual Health Alliance.
Celena finds joy in helping to empower students of all ages to feel confident and knowledgeable about their bodies, relationships, boundaries, and values related to their sexuality. She loves group facilitation and finds it to be a powerful tool for connection and experiential learning. As a parent of two teenagers, she aims to support parents and caregivers in their journey to become increasingly comfortable in conversations about sexuality with their children through learning skills that encourage open and ongoing communication. She offers classes for school-age students, as well as parent workshops.

Leslie Massicotte (she/they) has a Master’s of Education in Sexuality Education from Widener University and is a trained Our Whole Lives curriculum facilitator with over 15 years of experience working with youth. Their educational philosophy centers student and community priorities, social justice and equity, and inclusive, comprehensive information to empower individuals to make their own choices about their sexuality. She offers camps and classes for young people (K-12), workshops for parents to gain confidence in sex ed topics, and trainings for teachers and other professionals to feel comfortable teaching sex ed. She also partners with schools to help launch comprehensive sex ed programs.

Veronica Dress, CSE

Veronica Dress (she/her) is an AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator, certified coach, and intimacy director for theatre. With a decade of experience teaching sexuality education to youth, adults, and professionals alike, Veronica centers curiosity, compassion, and trauma-informed responses in her work. Through her practice, The Dress Rehearsal, Veronica works with folks exploring their sexualities in countless ways. Folks embracing their pleasure after living through purity culture, people discovering their LGBTQ+ identities, partners looking to reconnect in and out of the bedroom, individuals seeking to bring more pleasure and fun into their lives, and so many more. Whether through coaching, workshops, trainings, or intimacy direction, Veronica helps people bring confidence + joy to the most intimate parts of life— on and off the stage.

Nellie Galindo, MSW, MSPH

Nellie Galindo (she/her) has been teaching sex education in one way, shape, or form since 2007. She has been deeply involved in the disability rights movement since 2014, and is a fierce advocate for comprehensive sex education. Nellie attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received a Master’s degree in social work and public health, focusing on community organizing, leadership, and maternal and child health. She is a certified Our Whole Lives (OWL) facilitator, able to teach all levels from Kindergarten through older adulthood. Nellie is also the CEO and Founder of Accessible Sexual Health LLC, whose mission is to advance access to sexual and reproductive health education for all people with disabilities. She lives in Durham with her two children and two cats.

Mikayla Crawford, CHES®

Mikayla Crawford (she/her) is a Sexuality Coach and Sexologist with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and over three years of experience teaching sex education with a focus on HIV/STI prevention. She supports individuals and couples, exploring their relationships and deepening their connection to intimacy. Parents who need support with sex education for their children will find her services helpful. She also provides consulting services to help businesses enhance their workspace. Trained through the Sexual Health Alliance, Mikayla specializes in creating affirming, inclusive spaces for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clients to explore their sexuality, strengthen communication, and cultivate joy in their lives.
