All it takes is one person to bring inclusive sexuality education to your community.
I am interested in…
Advocating for inclusive sexuality education in my local public school
Start by finding out what sex ed your school is currently providing by asking the health teacher and/or principal.
Make some suggestions for quality sex ed programming if you find it is lacking (3Rs.org and OWL are good places to start). Sometimes this is all it takes!
Reach out to us if your school would like to hire an outside facilitator to cover this content.
Next steps could include locating the individual in charge of managing your school’s health curriculum (usually this is a Curriculum Development Manager at the district level) and advocating for an inclusive, comprehensive curriculum. Attend school board meetings with other parents to make your voices heard—this is where sex ed decisions are made. Advocating for inclusive sexuality education in my local private, charter or homeschool
We can partner with school administrators, health teachers, homeschool parents, co-ops, etc. to offer inclusive sexuality education. Whether it’s through organizing teacher trainings or contracting with our sexuality educators to teach a class, we can provide guidance, curriculum ideas and education on how to effectively implement sexuality education across grade levels.

Bringing inclusive sexuality education to my faith community
Many of our sexuality educators are also trained Our Whole Lives program facilitators, a highly rated, values-based comprehensive sexuality education program that is used in many faith communities. We can partner with your congregation to advise and collaborate on how to integrate OWL programming into your religious education program.

Bringing inclusive sexuality education to adults
Just because we’re out of school doesn’t mean we magically caught up on all the sexuality information we didn’t learn in health class. Luckily, there are programs and educators in the Triangle and beyond who offer sexuality education for adults rooted in curiosity, pleasure, and sex-positivity. In addition to our national resources, local sexuality education opportunities can be found through practices like The Dress Rehearsal (led by Veronica Dress, CSE), sex toy store Frisky Business, and more!

Training my team in inclusive sex ed practices
Many organizations and professionals working with teens don’t receive specialized training in sexuality education. We offer training to your teachers, staff, therapy practice, or parents on how to provide inclusive, comprehensive, developmentally appropriate sexuality education or sex-positive practices.
